Writing and Speaking News

I publish a newsletter, approximately once a month. I should do more, with less. Isn’t that a metaphor for life? I tend to write really long newsletters, but not that often, whereas the accepted wisdom is that readers prefer shorter emails, which, considering how much I always have going on, is really difficult for me.

The other accepted wisdom is that, when trying to promote something, you probably shouldn’t declare what’s wrong with it up front. But I guess I am not great at accepting wisdom.

That’s right, I am posting this blog post to say – subscribe to my newsletter. I put a lot of time into each of those monthly letters. I share photos of recent events, news of upcoming events, and thoughts about the world, storytelling, writing, etc.

I am better at pouring all of that into my monthly newsletters than I am at posting new blogs.

If you like the idea of infrequent and long newsletters about storytelling and author events, you can subscribe a few different ways.

Thank you for reading and following and continuing to sign up for my events. You are keeping me going and I appreciate that.
