Stages Pub Day is Here

I am thrilled that the day is finally here – Stages: My Life in Stories PUBLICATION DAY!

I have been excitedly reading the reviews that have already come in and here are a few choice words from readers.

This book is not only beautiful but brave. Jessica tackles difficult subjects with unflinching honesty and unparalleled grace.

Brilliant Collection of Essays

I see from the essays that she is a person of deep thought, a grit that goes beyond simple determination that has enabled her to overcome difficult circumstances and create a life that meets her own interests and benefits soooo many others. In addition, I discovered a whole new side of her as a wordsmith! Her performances on the page as are polished as her work on stage.

basically all the feels!

While the stories are Robinson’s own, there’s a universality of women’s lived experience that is relatable and ultimately inspiring. I want to get copies for my women friends to show them, “Here’s someone who gets it,” and for my guy friends to say, “This is what you need to understand.”

I keep getting asked – HOW WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO PURCHASE STAGES? I love that people are trying to be conscientious consumers! I will say first, I would be thrilled if you buy my book in any format from wherever is most convenient. THE AUDIOBOOK WILL BE OUT IN NOVEMBER! But if you have the means to choose the method, than here are my suggestions.

Suggested Ways to Purchase Stages: My Life in Stories

1

Get your copy at your local bookstore. If they do not have it in stock, ask them to order it. They can!

2

Come to the Winchester Book Gallery, in Winchester, VA on November 16th. I’ll be there telling stories and signing books from 11am – 1:00pm! If you can’t make it in November but can get to the WBG, stop in and purchase your copy there.

3

Order from Bookshop.org
When you check out, they will ask you what bookstore you’d like to support. Put in your local bookstore. OR, if you don’t have a favorite bookstore, enter The Winchester Book Gallery.

4

Buy a book from me at one of my upcoming events. Check out my events calendar here. I have a lot of public appearances scheduled starting on October 5, 2024 and running through the end of March 2025. If I am there and it’s open to the public, there will be books.

And of course, the kindle and paperback version are both available on Amazon. The audiobook will be there, and on Audible, soon.

Fun Fact: You can also request the book at your local library. It may take them longer to acquire it, but libraries do take requests.

And for those who love the book, or me, and want to help spread the word, here are some very easy steps to take.

Review the Book

You can leave a short review on Amazon here or Goodreads here. Even one line about how funny, poignant, heartfelt, enriching, or compelling the stories and/or the book is will help promote Stages: My Life in Stories.
