DESCRIPTION:I am thrilled to be featured in July’s Traditions and Truth\, a Virtual Open Mic presented by Dominican University and Illinois Storytelling\, led by Janice M. Del Negro\, PhD. \nVirtual Mics occur on the first Saturday of the month at 7:00 PM Central Time. There will also be a featured teller at each gathering. SUMMARY:NSN Conference 2026
DESCRIPTION:I will be telling a story alongside Alton Chung\, Lyn Ford\, and Miriam Nadel in a presentation on Saturday\, July 25th\, at 4:00pm CT. I will also be receiving an ORACLE Award for Distinguished National service and performing in the ORACLE Concert that follows the Awards Ceremony. Mostly\, I will be there for all the stories and the community. I hope you will come\, or watch online\, too. The NSN Conference is always fabulous. \nDetails and Registration Here\nI will be running the video stream for the virtual pass\, alongside Heather Forest. I have been told that the quality of the live stream (and subsequent video recordings) are very good. If you’ve watched the Women’s Storytelling Festival\, or the past two years of the NSN Conference\, you’ll know the quality you can expect.
